We Are Accessible
The Lancashire Resilience Forum (LRF) website has been created to provide residents with information, advice and guidance around what risks there are across the county and how we can all prepare for emergencies. The website also aims to increase awareness of the LRF, whose partner agencies work together to ensure that if and when an emergency occurs, we are prepared to respond together and minimise any impact.
It is also intended to be a platform where agencies and the public can share experiences and information, bringing us together to prepare for incidents and to support each other in our response and recovery.
It is of the utmost importance that this resource is accessible to all.
Therefore, this site provides accessibility help and options which will enable computer users to make the most of the content and functionality.
Your Opinion Matters
If you’ve had a positive experience using the LRF website, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please send us a message using the Get in touch form.
Guidelines and options
To help make our website a positive, helpful and inclusive place for all, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the LRF website.

Browser Support
We have made every effort to ensure the LRF website is cross platform and cross browser compatible. However, older browsers may not be fully supported. We encourage users of this website to upgrade to the latest version of their chosen web browser. This will not only enhance the user experience of this site but websites in general. Level AA Accessibility
We are committed to making the LRF website welcoming, open and inclusive to all, which is why we have chosen a target of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
