Lancashire Resilience Forum Business Manager, Hannah Sutton, and Communications Lead, Derek Quinn, promoted the work of the LRF on a popular community radio show recently.

Hannah and Derek where the guests of Faz Patel MBE who hosts a community hour show every Friday evening on Pendle Community Radio's Awaz Radio show.

The pair talked about what the LRF is, what it aims to do and how members of the community can learn about personal and business resilience by looking at the LRF website.

Many thanks to Faz, who works for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service for the invite. The LRF has been invited to join him four times a year to discuss the work of the forum and any latest campaigns it may have.

Hannah said: "A huge thank you to Faz for inviting us onto his show and giving us the opportunity to let people know about the work of the forum and how it is there to 'prepare and not scare' members of our communities by giving hints and tips to make people feel safer in their own homes and communities.''
