The current Spring sunshine is beautiful but it brings a higher wildfire risk.

Crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) have already attended several incidents recently, including one major fire on Scout Moor this week.

LFRS is asking people to take extra care when outdoors: no disposable BBQs, no careless smoking, and always take your rubbish with you.

If you see a fire, call 999 immediately and give the location, size, terrain, and any other details to help crews respond quickly.

Let’s look after Lancashire together.
